Blunts and Cants will be closing the 13th, 14th and 15th of Feb.
This is so we can do another netting of cants and remove some more small Carp.

Maldon Canal Closure 11th Jan 2010 until just before Easter
Black Bridge, (Holloway Road) Heybridge opposite Heybridge Mill It will be just above Black Bridge, (Holloway Road) Heybridge opposite Heybridge Mill, to allow the Environment Agency to replace a culvert beneath the Navigation. It will involve only localised damming of the waterway and should not affect water levels either side.
There will however be an associated closure of the public towpath with a fairly long diversion around.
Environment Agency also endeavouring to carry out other maintenance works during this closure period and this will involve the closure of Beeleigh Lock for repair work, the possible painting of Wave Bridge at Heybridge and replacement of Hall Bridge deck also at Heybridge.
